Welcome to the National Village Blog. We are excited that you have visited our blog and look forward to an opportunity to meet you and have you visit our community.
We are located on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Grand National near Auburn and Opelika, Alabama. Plans call for a series of villages surrounded by open, green spaces including the Grand National golf facility and Lake Saugahatchee.
Two of the villages have already been started. Stonelake is a community of 23 Craftsman-style homes ranging from 2148 - 3784 square feet. The second village at Lone Eagle Lane has small Craftsman-style homes ranging from 1216 - 1616 square feet.
The community skirts the 1500-acre, 54-hole golf facility. The late golf legend Robert Trent Jones, Sr., who designed the Trail, called the Grand National facility the single greates site for golf in the world. The course was voted #1 Public Course by the GolfWorld Magazine 2009 Readers' Choice Awards.
